another one on my admiraton list is Morgan Tsvangerai [sp] of Zimbabwe - trying to change the political scene in Zimbabwe and getting nowhere because of all the corruption - he has a lot of supporters but I suppose if there was an uprising by them there would be all out bloodshed in Zimbabwe - he is one very brave man indeed

Mother Theresa for her care of love towards all unwanted human beings

Christiaan Barnard for doing the first heart transplant and leading the way for other organ transplants

Princess Diana for bringing the Royal family into the twenty-first century and giving them a human face for the first time ever

The Queen for her unstinting devotion to duty and the sacrifices she had made for the United Kingdom - putting country before herself

My Mum and Dad for struggling out of poverty and giving me a good life and being such good role models

My darling husband who faced inevitable death with courage and without a word of complaint
