I love looking at jewellery in shop windows but don't wish it to presume to come near my person and encroach on my space.Have tried wearing rings in the past but they end up in a pocket after a short time.Just kept picking and worrying at them.

I feel lost without my rings etc. Currently got on wedding ring and half hoop of diamonds, on right hand 18k diamond ring, silver dolphin bracelet and in each ear one diamond stud and one tanzanite stud as I have my ears pierced twice. Just taken my watch off as it is a bit warm here. Usually wear a solitaire diamond on a gold chain but haven't had it on for a while. I have a lot of rings (about 40 really good ones) and the OH is always moaning when I see something else I like!

I love jewellery especially rings.
At the moment I have on my wedding ring (which I had to have enlarged because it shrunk!, my Mother's wedding ring on the middle finger of my left hand - she was under 5 foot but had large knuckles so the ring is quite large. On my right hand a victorian ring on my middle finger, and a saphire dress ring and a plain gold 'love knot ring on my 4th finger. (the dress ring a wedding anniversary present from OH. when i go out I add my ruby eternity ring and an engagement ring that belonged to one of my aunts. I also have on a cheap watch and two silver chain bracelets and a blue bead type necklace.

I only wear my wedding ring. When we go out I occasionally remember to put my engagement ring on.
I have my ears pierced and wear just gold studs, which my dear old Dad bought me years ago.

My OH wears a wedding ring, and a ring on his other hand, which I bought him when we got engaged.

I like jewellery but have not got much.
I wear all the time (hardly take them out) the gold and pearl earrings my grandmother got me for my 21st birthday (I am now 51) I wear a white gold band on my left hand - which is not my wedding ring - thats in a pot as I have outgrown it!! I wear a M&S cheapie to go with it!

On my right hand is a real gem - a diamond and opal ring worth loads was too scared to wear it at first but have got used to it. I had it for my 50th birthday.
Thats it - no necklaces - the chains always seem to break.

No you are not alone I only wear my wedding ring. I have quite a lot but if I do put on a necklace or locket I can't wait to take it off.

Working in a kitchen I am only allowed a wedding band. So I've got out of the habit of things like watches and necklaces.

I love jewellry but dont wear a huge amount at once.

I am allergic to nickel so cant wear a lot of High Street fashion stuff.

I wear white gold, platinum and silver - the funny thing is most people cant tell the difference as its all silver in colour.

Basics: Earings, bangle, watch and a few rings I dont take off unless I am changing them as I can shower and sleep in my jewellry and I know it wont go green or black.

I wear an engagement ring only on my left hand and wear two rings on my right and change them depending on my mood. I used to wear rings on every finger when I was younger but as someone else said - less is more.........

Also my fingers are bigger than they were when I was younger so a lot of my rings are too tight and my neice loves to rummage and clear me out of what dosent fit anymore lol.

I love jewellry but the work I do prevents the wearing of jewellry. Necklaces get in the way. Rings are ruined when digging etc.

My OH only wore his wedding ring once, caught it on the side of the truck and had to have it cut off.

I like jewellery!

I haven't got pierced ears though. I don't have ear lobes and never really fancied wearing earrings all the time. I've got some pretty clip ons I wear sometimes but mostly I like my rings and necklaces.

But not all at once! LOL

I've given up wearing a watch now - my dad once said, what's the point of wearing one because if you're running late it won't get you there any faster. (I try to apply this to delayed trains but it doesn't always work.)

I wear earrings sometimes but not always and only wear make up once in a while - my sister never goes out without hers (I'm not even sure what colour her face really is any more!) and when my parents were away this week and I did the washing I started to notice all the marks my sister's make up had left on the towels!

I am trying to acquire nice jewellery...so I can hand them down to my neices..and my son..as heirlooms one day..
As for watches..dont wear one..there are enough things in this world to remind us of the time!!..lol.

Hi Sharron, you are not alone. I have jewellery but never remember to wear it except for special occasions. It was a big moan of my mams who would often remark on the fact that I never wore the lovely rings or earrings she had bought me. I would say well I'm not going anywhere so why bother. My OH has bought me some lovely pieces over the years and it never crosses my mind to put them on. Being the only daughter my mam left me all her jewellery apart from a few pieces she bequested to her granddaughters. Its just a habit of not wearing any and really I should try and remember to wear some. shirley.x
