A distant family contact has sent me their family tree in a 3MB FTW file. I believe this is a Family Tree Maker format. Unfortunately I don't have Family Tree Maker software. Is there any other way of accessing the information in this file? I don't really want to go back and annoy my contact by saying the information they were good enough to send is not useful to me in this format. Any advice appreciated. |

You're right, it needs to be a gedcom file. |

Thanks very much, Secret Red Squirrel. That did the trick very nicely. |
