McAnne's Gahan-Crazy Report 18 Jun 2008 18:17

I noticed this being advertised on Facebook

and of course - being a woman curiosity got the better of me and i had a look lol

it said it contains 5-htp which is the supplement i now take in place of antidepressants - it contains seratonin and works as an AD and appetetite suppressor

i've been taking it over a month now and altho it works on my mood - doc has confirmed my weight has NOT decreased since i last saw him ! ! :O((

mind - what works for one doesn't always work for another ............

I've cancelled getting anymore as I found they gave me headaches and if I am honest i didn't notice any reduction in my appetite!

I heard them mentioned on the radio yesterday but all I can remember is that they were said to be not suitable for anyone under the age of 16

I can't say I agree with their advertising but if it works all well and good..... I am 42 years old and know my consumer rights..... so either I cancel my order within 14 days or they deliver a months supply..... SIMPLE AS THAT!!

I've read enough reviews - both those that say it works and those that don't.... but I am willing to give it a try!!

I kept getting that ad on hotmail too and thought it must be a scam.

The advert is so so non pc isnt it "Get Skinny", product for "Young Women" - it has to be a scam guys and a dangerous one if it appeals to kids who dont need to lose weight.

I recieved them today and I have 14 days to cancel the delivery of more so as far as I am concerned its defo a free trial........ If I don't get on with them, I cancel and all I have paid is postage of £1.95

Hi Penny,

Thats what I thought too, they wait until you fill in all your details, name, address, bank card details then at the very end you have to tick this box saying its ok for them to debit your acount for the further months supply.
If you don't tick the box then no free trial.

♥Betty Boo from Dundee♥ Report 11 Jun 2008 14:40

Hi I just had a look at the website to check out the free sample but you also have to agree that they can send you a further one months suppy by taking the money of the debit/credit card details you gave them, I don't like that.

I think I'll be able to judge wether they are right for me to continue trying in a week yes..... as I could find they make me too hyper or I'm allergic to them etc etc.

;O)
