Watched Lee being interviewed on BBC this morning,
and he told us that on his CV he had written 'not completed', so that bit was staged!
He wouldn't do his impression, said it was now extinct.......clever man! ;O)

I for 1 am glad that Lee was victorious.
Could yo imagine working for/with the rottwieler (Claire).

Alex (I' only 24 you know) -------Didn't get the job oh dear how sad never mind laddie dry your eyes and get back to work you whimp.

So we will have to wait till next year for the egos to return to our screens.

Oh yes on the subject of Claire in the 'your Hired' programme old Sir Alan said he has no fears for her I bet he offers her a job on the QT and I bet the salary will be a lot higher than Lees.

Rosalyn - did you see the show after " You're hired"

It was brought up by Sir Alan about the CV & he said everyone lies to get on so it wasn't an issue for him!

Overall I thought the series was funny & entertaining - don't get many programmes like that these days !!! :-(

Who said earlier in the thread Alex walks ?
Just goes to show you shouldn't believe everything you read/hear !!

Yes definitely Stray one of my favourite programmes, have watched them all.

Hard to make mind up,but Sir Alan likes Claire's selling skills and as long as she doesn't tell him what to do lol she's a likely winner.

Tonight they're in two teams so I guess it's whoever wins the task that has the advantage really.

just read: I wouldn't count on anyone posting the winner here prior ot the final, but if you read back we do have a source that indicates that Claire and Lee ar the final 2 and that Alex walks. I think that's a bit more than just a rumour...!!!!

Alex walks Apparently because he was missing his girlfriend and didn't want to move to London.....

either that or he never actually wanted the job in the first place but thought it was a good way to get a bit of self promotion.....

In the run up to the final episode of The Apprentice, recruitment entrepreneur Zena Everett has hit out at Sir Alan’s advisers for their unprofessional interviewing style: “Their bully boy tactics went against every single professional rule in the book.”

“OK, we all know it's a TV reality show but comments such as: ‘you're a contractor because no one is going to employ you’; and ‘your CV is one of the most boring CVs I've ever read’ hardly gives the right impression to any aspiring HR professionals watching,” says Everett, who founded London-based recruitment firm Perriam & Everett in 1992.

On last week’s show, Sir Alan’s advisers were Karen Brady, who, at just 23, was MD of Birmingham City Football Club; troubleshooter Claude Littner; Bordan Tkachuk, chief executive of Viglen Computers; and property tycoon Paul Kemsley. Everett reckons they were “rude, they didn't listen and they made personal remarks".

“Anyone worth their salt in recruitment knows that interviewing should be based on competencies – and not personal assumptions – otherwise you end up with subjectivity and even discrimination.”

“Despite the gloomy economic predictions of recent weeks, there is still a war for talent. When interviewing, you are selling as well as buying – something that Sir Alan’s advisers seem to know very little about,” adds Everett.

The winner was at LBC but they said that they were sworn to secrecy and couldn't tell who had won!!

The winner of the first series of The Apprentice (2005) has left the £100,000-a-year job he landed after the show, working for Amstrad boss Sir Alan Sugar.
Sir Alan said former London Underground manager Tim Campbell, who was kept on after the end of his original 12-month contract, had been a "great asset".

Campbell is planning a male grooming business and an initiative that will give £1m a year to entrepreneurs.

Michelle Dewberry, also left Amstrad within months.

Simon Ambrose has won The Apprentice (2007), beating the show's favourite Kristina Grimes to the £100,000-a-year job with business mogul Sir Alan Sugar.
