As you know Oz our 14 year old budgie has been ill, 30mins ago he passed away and we just buried him, my boy Liam is 13 and Danielle is 15 so he been their life, they are in bits as i had to wake them as i promised if i was here when he died. He was a lovely fighty thing and i will sure miss him. When you look out tomorrow and see a green and yellow angel, thats my Oz. Bless you mate.XXXXXXX

Thanks all never got to sleep till 5.30 and both kids have come back from school, i am not happy about that but too tired to have ago and daughter did make me cup of tea for first time.lol.

Frosty, I read your thread last night and was really sad for you. I went to bed at 2am so missed the mail at the begining of this.

might just be a budgie as some might say,but all pets mean a lot to us.

Was 14 old for a budgie? I dont know anything about them.

I remember a friends father had died and the minister was there to find out what hymns etc. They were in the middle of a prayer when the budgie started speaking,saying a few things,Mary had a little lamb etc, all in a broad Dundee accent just like the owner lol.He really cheered up a sad time.
He wa also a well loved pet.
