daughter feeling bit better

the hospital put her on nebulizer
i just dropped OH of at work and havet o go get my son now

every so often her asthma gets bad like this, she has coughing fit where she cant get her breath
thank god hubby hadnt gone to work before i text him

My son had asthma until he was 14, when he seemed to grow out of it, at least didnt have such bad attacks. It can make you feel so helpless watching them struggle to get the next breath. May she get all the help she needs and you can relax, God Bless. Jean

OMG Julie, that took me back to my teens, er, a few years ago lol (oh alright then, nearly 40 years ago).
I didn't know she had had a bad attack, and it's frightening for the onlooker as well as the sufferer. My Mum used to suggest I have a steaming hot drink to open my airways. Now, whether or not it was psychological I don't know, but it worked!

thanks all

shes 22 in august, and i think she paniced cos she had the kids minding, and her baby girl with her,
lucky her fella got home to have the kids as her dad was arriving to take her to hospital,

shes had attacks like this every couple of years,
then she be ok for a while agen, well manage it herself,
ill tell her your tip glenys,
see if it helps her with the hot drink

Well, it's always helped with me Julie; hope it helps her too. She has to inhale the steam, though. :-))
