How can my dogs

ProfilePosted byOptionsPost Date

Lindy Report 26 Jun 2008 22:24

My dogs know when it is time for their Daddy to get home..They lie in front of the screen door and wait for his car...

They also recognise the sound of each of my boys cars and go crazy when they hear them, but the poolman or gardener's car they will ignore...

They know when it is time to eat and also when they can come into the family room and we spend quality time with them..

Our dogs are our babies and they know it.!

Lindy ;))

I agree that animals are much cleverer than most humans. Took dogs through school grounds today as I lock up outer gates. Merlin who is nearly blind and very deaf made a beeline for the a frame wih the runner beans growing up it. He went straight down the middle a 2' tunnel with his nose to the ground. He then proceeded to work a 6' square of newly turned earth done yesterday. Then I realised why. I had sprinkled both with blood fish and bone. It must be a blessing and a curse to have such a sensitive nose, just think of all the smellies we use around the house on our clothes etc and I must smell like an old ash tray to him. Makes you think. Elaine.

Next door neighbour has five assorted dogs and they recognise her car and bark and bark until she gets through the door, don't bother about anyone else's. it's remarkable I think.

My dog, a border collie can hear bread crumbs dropping into her food dish while she is asleep upstairs........

she also recognises me picking up my car keys.....
