Hello Caz, didn't actually meet Prince Charles myself, just got close enough to take a photo. The local schools had taken all the kids to see him though and he was very good with them all and spent a lot of time with them.

My daughter Emma, was presented her award by the Duke of Edinburgh. He was very nice and had a few words with everyone, (he presented to about 200 people). He then had a few words with some of the parents as he walked past us. Must have been a very tiring day for him. Always thought that he was a grumpy old man before then, but must admit that it changed my opinion of him, he was very nice!!

No the sovreign is allways his or her majesty ie HM the others are simply His or Her Royal Highness...ie HRH.The same mistake is made by the press over and over...but stuff the title protocol all that matters is you and your family had a very special if somewhat damp day

Something you'll always remember Caz. Shame about the weather though.

Haven't met the Queen myself, but saw Prince Charles when he opened our local library in the 80s. Also seen Prince Phillip when my daughter was presented with her Duke of Edinburgh Gold award.
