I think people will get sick tired and fed up with me batting on about the 70's.......but looking back it was such a great time for me.......the babies, good friends, good music......the 60's were so good too with jobs and prices not too high and they were building council houses then..... |

I think growing up in the 1960s in the countryside was good. I enjoyed the freedom to go off for hours at a time and to spend ages curled up with a good book if I wanted. Kids these days seem to belong to so many organised activities that they don't have so much time just to be kids and play. But my cousin died of leukaemia in the 1960s and he might have survived today. |
