Just thinking about daughter and hers so far has last 10 months which I think is good going for a 1st serious boyfriend,

mine was a few months and first real true love am still with 22 years later. Thought I loved the first one but when started seeing Steve was a whole different feeling and knew it was love.

Turned out none of them were serious until my OH and we've had nearly 53 years. The longest I had a boy-friend was probably about 6mths. Jean

love at first sight for both of us - first serious relationship for both of us, engaged six months later, National Service intervened - than married for 43 years and then sadly he died nearly six years ago - life will never be the same ever again but at least I have lovely memories to treasure until I pop my clogs too

Chris

yep am prepared for it will see what happens after they start college.

Can see them together for ages though and he is such a nice lad and really good for her and does tell her when she has overstepped the mark with us, as all teenagers do try to do.

I had quite a few boyfriends...nothing serious, though. Met oh when I was 15, saw him around and about for a year.... started going out with him when I was 16 and knew within days he was *the one*... engaged two months after starting to go out together, married at 17 1/2, still married and it is 36 + years married for us. We had a wonderful day in 2000, when we re-took our wedding vows in St David's Cathedral, Pembrokeshire. I still love him to bits!!

Love
