When I had a perm some years ago, I only liked the effect when it was growing out, but to make it look better from the start (my hair has always been thin and fine) I would scrunch dry it with a leave in conditioner on. Now I wear my hair shorter and cut in a bob, it's very grey altho I use a blonde permanent colour on it, but the grey bits are the frizzier ones, because grey hair usually grows more coarse and wiry. I think if I found it a big problem I would use the leave in type conditioner again and scrunch dry it, it makes the curls more defined and less like a bushy frizz. |
