can anyone tell me on census form 1901 what exactly does - born in Jamaica British subect mean and West Indies b. Parliament. London St pancreas

Can you give the name and area and I'll take a look.
I would imagine the first part refers to the fact that although born overseas, the person was British as Jamaica was under British sovereign.
