Elaine, thank you for your kind offer, but I am fine, truly!

This was with medical supervision.... bp taken daily etc etc. medical centre is just across the road from me. It was done under strict medical supervision, I can assure you!

I was even invited to stay in hospital whilst it was happening... but I reckoned that the food would be more nutritious at home, lol!!

The end result was that I proved what I had been saying all along... the only way I can lose weight is by going on a diet that is dangerous and totally unhealthy, even if it consists of good quality and nutritious food... a diet like that has the rebound effect of putting the body into *starvation* mode.... so any weight lost is doubled as soon as normal (healthy!!) eating is resumed!!

My *normal* diet is extremely healthy!!

The GP and dietician had suggested slimming pills and/or surgery, fgs! I have got to lose weight as I am considered morbidly obese! Plus high bp (from age of 17, when I was lovely and slim, was until I was 47!)

I know that I have an endocrinal problem... and I know it is fixable, and now the GP is listening to me!!

As I said... I proved my point. Without pills, and without surgery!

Love
