its snowing in angelsey as well,and very,very cold.x

It's prettily melting here - falling off the trees as the sun melts it.

Fast melting here this morning.

it had all gone from here by midnight as it turned back to rain. beautiful blue skies and sunshine this morning but v v v v v cold.

THE SNOW HAS SETTLED HERE IN SURREY.

It has stopped here but snow is still around & frozen can hear the cars crunching down the road!

Noticed the snow in London on the News at Ten tonight. Not been out all day, just been lying on the couch under the spare duvet, but gotta go tou tomorrow.

But I'm not complaing too much, I'm just soooo glad to be alive and able to get out and about.

Gritters were out here last night, and more out today.

It's very light rain in Chelmsford now, forecast is to freeze overnight, so the roads are going to be skating rinks in the morning.

Earlier there was hail and snow/sleet which is still persisting despite the rain.

Very localised, though. I got from cental London to within less than a mile of home before seeing any settled. Only one small flurry coming through Tottemham. Otherwise practically dry.

Unless they get the gritters out I can see me having to fork out for a train ticket to London instead of using the motorbike.

Well I never.

West of London they said and we are in the south in Surrey.

........ it's snowing quite heavily. Bliss.

I won't get too excited as it will probably not settle.

Growing up in Scotland we had tons of it and it was wonderful. I really miss it.

snowing like mad here in east London, huge flakes and it's starting to settle on the road and pavement. it hardly ever snows here!!

Rain and sleet in Letchworth now. Had a fair bit of snow from about 5.30pm onwards and the cars and grass are well covered. Hope it is gone by the morning ..... I hate the blinking stuff !!!

It snowed here in Shropshire for about 2 hours this afternoon. We have taken temp staff on at work for Xmas and one of them is a lad from China, he had never seen snow falling before. You should of seen his face. it was a picture.

tis snowing in Reading, but not settling. Been going a good half an hour. Totally confused our lab!

hail here earlier but since then just lots of very cold rain. I suppose it could be sleet but you can't really tell in the dark!
