I am trying to find any information on the Royal Albert Institution in Lancashire. I have a member of the family tree who was in that institution. As know body knows any thing about Sidney Edgar's history I am trying to put something together. I have his 1911 census information for his family and institution. Sidney died in an institution but not sure as to which one as yet.

Hi Kay, if you Google the institution there is quite a bit of info. about it. Looks like the records are held at the Records Office. Maybe if you write to them, including a self addressed envelope they will help you. Some Records Offices are better at helping than others. Good luck.

Also looks as if a book was written about Royal Albert institution, author, W.H.Coupland. You could always try at your local Library to ask them to do a search for the book. They will search the country & get it for you if found for a small charge.
