	Hi Barbra :) Aren't people from Lancaster called Lancastrians rather than people from Lancashire in general? After all Liverpool was part of Lancashire at one time.

	Hi SRS, Lancastrians are from Lancashire generally these days but back at the time of the Wars of the Roses they were specifically suppoters of the House of Lancaster The larger Towns in the County have their own names such as Mancunians or Liverpuddlians/scousers Allan

	No, I was just making sure you that you knew that I had seen you out and about. The deleted post was mine, I googled "cockney derivation" and found an interesting article, but when I tried to copy and paste it, it became so garbled it was unreadable
