Strewth, fair suck of the sauce bottle!! You lot sound like the Waltons family. Goodnight ma, goodnight pa, goodnight johnboy, goodnight pussycat, goodnight dog.

It's morinng over here. I'm at work, ready to face another day of trials, tribulations and the run down to the Christmas Holidays.

Keep the snoring to a minimum so I am able to concentrate on my work please.

Catch you all later.

Whoo hooo all mine. I'm on the bestest throne with the laser gun and a plate of delicious stationery omelettes. Mine all mine!!!

Locks door to throne room. Rolls out barbed wire, puts bucket of water just inside the locked door and activates trapdoor in front of throne, Ahhh now to work. Just test out the bestest throne first, zzzzz zzzzzz!!

AuntySherlock Report 7 Dec 2009 02:50

Well you are stuck here now. Unless you wish to brave the pit, the barbed wire and the bucket of water.

Sorry I sat on you. Hope I didn't squash anything important. Go back to sleep I'll work quietly over here in the corner.

Morning, Same here Maz , Rainbows and Brownies party, got to go and collect our trees from the church where they have been on display in the tree festival, pack them away and hopefuly get my own tree done ready for visitation of the little ones. Had a better night last night so thank goodness I will hopefullly have a bit more energy today.

Edit, Are you inferring I am an old Dinosaur Maz ? LOL

No you did not squash anything vital Aunty but please watch where you park yourself next time. Cuddles might be curled up on it and he is not a happy Boa if you surprise him.

Parties? What are they? Bah Humbug!!!!!

Might, just might, get the tree down from the loft next week. ‘They’ keep asking Mum, when is it going up? But do ‘they’ help? Not on your Nellie!

(Sorry CP Nelly. I’m sure you’d help if asked! You can put the fairy on top as you have a long trunk)

Glad you felt a bit better last night LG. Just take it easy and let others run round after you for a change.

+++DetEcTive+++ Report 7 Dec 2009 16:35

I'm sure what ever you provided will be welcome. Unless they are little 'uns, they would probably have eaten at home anyway!

Conserve your strength for tomorrow, and enjoy being wined and dined yourself!
I'm supposed to be going out with a friend on Wednesday evening , but the council have decided its a good time to resurface the main road over night. She lives one side, I the other. Trying to work out the logistics of how to meet. Don't fancy the suggested 7 mile diversion - lol!

Mazfromnorf

Mazfromnorf Report 7 Dec 2009 16:55

Whoo! Whoo!

Just finished the pressie buying!!!! Yeah! Only 3 more to wrap.

Suppose I'd better start on the cards - one to go to a 3rd cousin found on GR who lives in the States (not the American branch I've been on about). He was a bit disappointed last year when he didn't get one!

Catch you later.

YG

YG Report 7 Dec 2009 18:20

Time for celebrations then DET!!!

Done some of mine but still main pressies to buy. I can do some on the internet fortunately and I will finish the remainder next week when I have a couple of days off, or on Sunday.

Got the tree up after son came and emptied loft for me!! Cannot find any of the gift tags to match the paper so looks like I will have to buy more.

I've been invited out on Christmas Day and Boxing Day so don't have to worry about much food buying!! Yippee!!!!!!

AuntySherlock

AuntySherlock Report 7 Dec 2009 19:27

Thought I'd better edit that line. You lot are probably far too young for Dr Seuss quotations. I don't like Christmas. And I haven't done anything. And I don't do presents. And you are making me feel guilty, which I should feel because I am so slack.

Well I have made my pudding and I have bought my cards, and I have planned to go buy the plants I'm giving to workmates (but they don't count as presents because you don't wrap them) and I have, I have, I have oh blimey there must be something else I've done.

It is raining today. Raaaaaiiiiing, wet, mucky stuff and in December. There goes the cricket. We have a fight on our hands against the West Indies, and it rains.

Mumble, mumble, mumble..............

By the way Mo if ever you have the chance you sneak in and pinch the throne and Her Maj's accoutrements. Fair drives her barmy it does. Also a quick slick of paint any colour other than red and white will put you on her right side. Here take this can of yellow and green striped paint and repaint the throne room.

Her KQ Maj will be soooooooooooooooooo surprised!!

AuntySherlock

AuntySherlock Report 7 Dec 2009 20:08

Oh you'll know where she is. Moves with the speed of a thousand startled gazelles on that flaming broomstick.

The accoutrements are the crown, the laser gun, the broomstick, the arsenal flag and the throne. There are also some very scratchy Queen recordings, particularly Killer Queen,. This can sometimes be heard quavering on the evening breezes as she zooms her way through the open kitchen window at Nut Lodge.

Can quite remember the current configuration of the crown. At one stage it was red and white with horsetails and faux fur. Not certain about it now.
