:-D :-D That's good. How is she now-a-days?

Can't say I've done much apart from resisting the urge for a nana nap/ Thankfully there'll be no more getting up 'early' until the autumn. One more session Thurs afternoon and (hopefully) thats us done and dusted!

There was a perambulation through the estate earlier on, during which 2 nearly ripe tomatoes were spotted - growing outside! :-D It looks as if todays rain is about to appear now. V grey and cool in the breeze.

David Report 28 Jun 2016 11:28

On a farm lived a chicken and a horse. Both of whom loved to play together.

One day, the horse fell into a bog and began to sink. The horse begged
for the chicken to go get help.

The chicken ran back to the farm. He searched and searched for the
farmer, but to no avail for he had gone to town with the tractor.

Running around, the chicken spied the famer's new Z-4 series BMW.

Finding the keys inside, the chicken sped off with a length of rope hoping he
still had time to save his friend's life.

Back at the bog the horse was surprised, but happy, to see the chicken
arrive in the shiny car. He managed to get a hold of the rope the
chicken tossed to him after tying the other end to the rear bumper of the car.

The chicken then drove slowly forward and with the aid of the powerful
car rescued the horse.

Happy and proud the chicken drove the car back to the farmhouse and the
farmer was none the wiser when he returned.

The friendship between the two animals was cemented.

Best Buddies, Best Pals.

A few weeks later the chicken fell into a mud pit and soon began to
sink and cried out to the horse to save his life.

The horse thought a moment, walked over and straddled the large
puddle. Looking underneath, he told the chicken to grab his thing and he would
lift him out.

The chicken got a good grip and the horse pulled him out saving his life.

The Moral Of The Story:
When you're hung like a horse, you don't need a BMW to pick up chicks.

Morning all

Maz is likely to be on her way by now. At least its dry & sunny at the moment so the trainlines shouldnt be flooded. See you when we see you!

It's an in and out day today. Ships that pass in the night and all that.

After your day from H, you’ll probably be in bed, or well on the way. With those assignments looming, its just as well you seem to work best under pressure!
How come you couldn’t eat your sandwiches at your desk? Tsk, tsk, naughty girl.

Enjoy your F’n’Cs tomorrow. It must be a posh pla(i)ce to warrant a birthday bash!

YG Report 27 Jun 2016 19:48

I'm still here!!!

I've been busy trying to complete one of my assignments, as I only have a couple of weeks left and I have a lot to do!

I haven't eaten yet and it will be an interesting meal as I am eating the sandwiches that I bought for lunch and didn't have change to eat :-( :-( :-( A day from h*** today and the possibility of another one tomorrow, but hey ho, I am out at my favourite fish'n' chip restaurant tomorrow evening for R's birthday. Scrummy and yummy and a lovely relaxed atmosphere :-)

Lol YG. Unlike an office, it’s not quite the done thing, but needs must.
10:25 the last of the students leave the room
10:32 the next set of papers have been put out
Nip across the corridor to the ‘little room’.
10:36ish, students for the second exam start to come in.
Even I can’t swallow a coffee that quickly! Luckily there were only a few students in a room set out to cater for 160. Plenty of room to pour and drink without any of the dangers of hot liquid spills.

Enjoy your break from home Maz. Layers and waterproofs to the fore!

+++DetEcTive+++ Report 27 Jun 2016 14:49

Eventually made it home by 2 and have since refilled with coffee and a snack. On paper there was 30 mins between exams, enough time to have a break. That didn't quite happen, did it? I'm so thankful I took a small flask of coffee with me even though it did mean some of it was drunk during the second session.

What caused your delay Maz? Late arrival or a problem? Try not to wear yourself out even before you start your journey.
