We can't have old days back,
When we were all together,
But secret tears and loving thoughts,
Will be with us forever.

Goodnight Jean.x

My thoughts were for Jean and her family this afternoon.

I'm sure she had a lovely farewell and even now looking down on us all
and smiling.
Dear Jean, you were one in a million.
xx

A beautiful service for a beautiful Lady. There were tears but also laughter, which s just how Jean would of wanted it.
A sad, but also uplifting day. What a Lady to have known.

One of Jean's Grandsons gave us all a wonderful insight to her life, it was amazing, and so true.

Jean may have gone, but will never be forgotten by those who's lives she touched.

Good night Jean x x x x x

I'm glad everything went according to plan Lynda, and you were able to say your farewells to dear Jean.

She may no longer be with us in body, but her spirit remains as a constant reminder of fortitude, courage and empathy.

A true lady.

Lynda - I wasn't surprised when I woke up just after 2 this morning. I was thinking of Jean and everyone else as I went to bed. I got up for awhile and reflected on Jean and then went back to bed knowing she was getting a wonderful send off and is now at peace.

A lovely service for a lady that deserved the best, her family did her proud, especially her young grandson who paid such a moving tribute to his lovely Nan.

This is from Maz, ......................

The service was just perfect, down to the Spurs scarf trailed lovingly around the coffin :-))) she would have loved that :-)))

Her Grandson's tribute was just wonderful and the packed chapel testament to how loved she is

A hard day but a fantastic send off for a very great lady who was thinking of others right to the very end - no surprise to most of us.

Thank you for letting the rest of us know about "Jean's Day" I am sure that having so many of her GR friends there, helped to bring comfort to her family.
