For years I have worn Chanel No. 5, but these days, it is abit too much. Maybe I will come back to it.
I fancied the Miss Dior, but could not get any around here during the Christmas period. Instead, I had Brittany Spears Midnight Fantasy, because I had smelled on a nurse, up the hospital. But same as Ann in Glos, says, they can smell different on different people, and whilst I still like this on me, it is different to what the nurse smelled like.
Oh well, it will soon be Eue (sp) de Manure here, when the gardening season starts in March. However, today here, it is more like Eue(sp) de P** it Down.
Love to all

On the back of this thread, I have just been out and bought a bottle of Eden. I paid £10.95 for it. And yes I like it very much.

That sounds a good price Julia, I have bought all mine in either Lanzarote or Tenerife but can't remember how much I paid.

It used to be cheaper to buy it abroad but it's not now, with the Euro.

I used to love Helena Rubenstein's Blue Grass, but I cant stand the perfumes that some wear, that overpower you as they pass. Perfume should be understated. And as for men with their aftershave, cant stand it. Nowadays my favourite is Lavender disinfectant!!

Jean, many years ago I liked H Rubenstein's Apple Blossom.

Can anyone remember a perfume called Babe (in the 70s) can't remember who made it.

FLUMP Report 23 Jan 2010 11:08

What a lovely list of perfumes,I will know where to ask next time i feel like trying something new.I have to have oil based ones as spirit ones fade after half hour.also good to know that I'm not only one who pinches the men in household aftershave! if its good.
any one remember "Manhattan" 1965-66 ish,had a lovely encounter wearing that one.
