No snow where I am Polly. I am very disappointed.

It has happened once on Thursday, July 27th, 1939 That is the only time it has ever snowed in Auckland.

Yvette

Would you believe it:
In Sydney, it snowed several times in June and July of 1836. Some outer suburbs have experienced snowfall in more recent times.

Perse who now has a wet keyboard again - that darn Polly is forever throwing snowballs at me - she is known for making puddles.

Where's Allan when you need him to be Frosty Boy?

How's Alice faring up with this new downfall of snow - betcha she will be pawsing before she ventures outside?

Out in Western Sydney its weird, gets really hot and really cold although we are south, we are close to the sea. Frost is even a rarity. 30 minutes drive up the mountain it does snow.

They have hoar frosts like that in the South Island Yvette.

Hang your washing on the line and it is stiff as a board and will snap in two if you are not careful.

No I don't read that paper either Yvette. Ours is much more gruesome with nasty murders etc on the front page - there is very little feel good news. At the moment headlines are about the Rockerfeller murder in Melbourne.
