I had a bright red PVC raincoat.
I thought I looked great, but it was rather useless at keeping me dry, because the water ran straight off and soaked my mini-skirted legs.
Brrrr !

I must have looked like a walking tomato.

I did buy a lovely pair of Swede black hot pants.....now they were the biz and one day I wore them to take my 3yr old to nursery and somehow a man in a mini started to follow me.
I nearly S**T myself....LOL
I ran to my friends house in my road and pleaded with her to let me in as I did not want this man to know where I lived.

Now how selfish is that ?...... this friend so happened to have her hubby in the house and went outside to give him the brush off !!

I never wore them to the nursery again ..and I still have nightmares now about that !

Now I was not in my Youth.....but I felt young !!

Karen I swear I had the widest legged flares going,,,,and many the time I near went A over T in them,they flapped and wound round my legs so much,

then an all time disaster,,new Wrangler jacket it was stiff and too new looking so on Brighton beach I tied shingle in the arms to give it a bit more aged look,,after throwing it wet about for a while,,,,, tiny holes in the sleeves and back.!!
not the look I was after,,,(((

Fashion I think I had a good collective mix of what was what then,,,,,,long flowing dresses,,all colours of tights,,,,, white knee socks, and boots to match. you name it .:jeeeees ,I blush now,,,,,it was Jean Shrimpton eat yer heart out :}}}}}

Some white pvc knee boots, like a shoe with a stretchy leg part,really loved them.
They went well with a lovely mac which looked like a Union Jack, all red,white and blue checks and stripes.
How awful when I think back :((
