It'll settle and you'll get more sleep as time goes on Mo.

When I had my hip done, I didn't get much sleep in hospital, it was too noisy with alarms going off all night and so on. When I got home I slept in short bursts, so I could go to bed at 10, be up again at 11.30, then go back at 2, up again at 3.30ish, and so on. It soon settled down though, and once I could lay on my side I slept like a baby.

Mo!!!!!!! Good to see you back, and well done for coming along so well they let you out in good time.

I know knee ops are more painful than hips, but that will soon go, as will the swelling once you are able to use it more. The swelling is the worst part, so make sure you use plenty of moisturiser or the skin will dry and crack, and keep it up when you're sitting.

You'll bounce back in no time, I can feel it...then that train driver better watch out! lol
