TALK ABOUT IT AS IF I WAS REAL,I WAS ON THE TRAIN THIS MORNING
AND THESE TWO WOMEN TALKED FOR AN HOUR ABOUT CORONATION STREET,
AND I HAD NO WAY OF ESCAPE AND I DIDNT KNOW HARDEY ANY OF THE CHARICTERS

I had the misfortune to catch a bit of Corrie last week ( used to watch them all but they all got too irritating) and decided that the reason I don't like them is that they are in the main populated by weak men and crazy women ;-)

Corrie used to be quite funny in the old days. Ken must have had a relationship several times with every female and male who entered the cast.

Have not watched a soap episode since I had Sky Plus (5 years ago). OH watches Emmerdale but am usually still out at work.

Just read the synopses of the soaps in the TV guides, Dizzi. You can become an instant expert on the train and it only needs a few minutes homework each week.:-D

Even I know who Ena Sharples is, here in Australia. I used to watch it more than twenty years ago - and it was an 'old' version even then.
It has now started up again on one of the new digital chanels - but I have no intention of looking at it.

I STOPPPED WATCHING BROOKSIDE WHEN THEY USED THE STORY LINE OF KILLING 2 CHILDREN TO LEAD ON TO ANOTHER STORY LINE.
I STOPPED WATCHING EASTENDERS WHEN THEY BROUGHT DEN BACK
I STOPPED WATCHING CORRIE AS IT WAS JUST CRAP, BAD ACTING CONSTANTLY THE SAME STORY LINE.
AND GOT BORED WITH SEEING A BABY BORN EVERY XMAS DAY IN A PUB OR A PUDDLE OR HANGING OFF A CHURCH ROOF .

DEFFO LOST THEIR HAYDAY AS ARE ON TOO OFTEN.

Ken Barlow annoys me, Island. As if he'd be chasing women at his age but I read somewhere that he likes to flirt with the young women on the set.

Perhaps this is the reason he doesn't look his age ? ( Ken Barlow)
