I haven't made piccalilli for years, I used to like that,
Problem with such things is it's a bit stinky while the vinegars simmering off - it smells like someones been Uncle Dick here at the moment :-0 :-0

I used very green tomatos - would have passed as small apples LOL

I'm going off in a few mom.,. I was going to offer you some green tomatoes. Me Dad's got about a hundred in a draw trying to rippen them. You could have had some of them.
Yes simmering vinegar does have a touch of the Uncle Dick's about it.

Ooo. I forgot. There's someone on here does not like us to post about jam making, crocheting, and swede growing. I wonder if that means adjacent subjects such as chutney.

I've had a fun day - lots of nice young men in my garden lopping trees :-D

I am working my way up so that i can enter the "Discus Clenching" event at the next H'olympics.

With a bit of luck, i might just crack it.
