We three kings, of Orient are,
One in a taxi, one in a car,
One on a scooter, beeping his hooter,
Smoking a fat cigar.

CHORUS

Oh, star of wonder
Star of might
Fill your pants with dynamite
Light the fuse and off we go ...
Around the world to Mexico.

CHORUS:
We three kings of Orient are
Tried to smoke a rubber cigar
It was loaded, and exploded
Now we're on yonder star.

If anyone knocks on my door and sings those versions of Christmas carols, they will get a bag of sprouts. And probably a bottle of spirit of some kind or another. I am teetotal and had 3 bottles of spirits last year. Stil unopened and will thrust them at any carol singers I don't like.

Yahh. Booo Humbug ;-)

While shepherds washed their socks at night
All seated round the tub
A bar of Sunlight soap came down
And they began to scrub!"

all coming back to me - what memories - sitting round a log fire reading my Daily Mail annual surrounded by nutshells and tangerine peel and taking periodic looks at my kaleidoscope

My Father was a proof reader for the Express so I had a Rupert annual every year. Probably because the tight wotsit got it for free.

At a family Christmas get together where all the children sang their party piece My darling little son about 5 years old, sang "Good king Wenceslas knocked a babby senseless outside Marks & Spencers" He is now 45 years old, a big shot City lawyer, and he still has a way with words. <3 <3 <3
