My dad rang me last night to say my mum wanted a particular kitchen scales for christmas.
He said they were advertised as £29.99 on tv so while on the phone found them on Amazon for about £25...just before I ordered I found a price comparison and Currys had it for £20 and Argos £39.99!!!

So you can guess where OH is going to pick it up today

Have noticed that Tesco aren't very cheap for anything this Christmas. I have never known them to be this uncompetitive. Even petrol last night was 132.9 and my local garage was 130.9

Tesco - Matchstick chocolates (currently on special offer at 2 for £3) . Widely available everywhere else at between £1 and £1.22 a box.

Must have a word with Phil Clarke (CEO) ;-) Not a happy small shareholder.

It really is worth using a price comparison site

http://www.kelkoo.co.uk/

is quite good for on-line purchases.

There are other ones for High Street shops ;-)
