Bought 2 new bulbs today, in a small hardware shop, for a chandelier I have,.

They were small bayonet candle bulbs, and were guaranteed 'Triple Life'.

However, also on the box was the warning ' Not suitable for general husehols illumination'

As I paid for them, I pointed out the warning - 'To deter people from buying them, i suppose'
The salesman agreed.
I can just imagine some grease encrusted mechanic, in the garage, insisting on a candle bulb in his extension light :-D

When we go away for Christmas I always take a packet of cough/throat sweets in case one of us gets a cough/cold and daughter or son don't have any in. Likewise settlers and extra strong mints as all the rich food gives me indigestion. Lol!!! Don't need batteries for toys any more :-D

Thanks for the reminder Rose. Last year I recall that you couldn't remember where you'd put the DVD you'd bought your son for Christmas. I directed you to your knicker drawer, but I never got my chocolate penny you promised. ;-) :-D
