Uzzi, That's what my elder (6 years older) used to say to me. I was too young to watch Muffin the Mule.

I was well into my 20's before I 'got' it!! :-D

I can remember one of our neighbours getting a colour TV that caused a lot of excitement I also remember that we were the first to have a telephone instaled and neighbours coming in to have a look at it, I sat and watched it all evening praying for it to ring so I could answer it, and my mum telling me not to play with it as every time I picked up the receiver it would cost her money , what a liar :-|

GinN Report 2 Jan 2013 16:22

Yes,Mau, we got our first set in 1956, a tiny little thing set in a cabinet with doors. We were the first in our street to get a TV, and I found lots of new "friends" who came knocking in the door to come and watch it! :-D

I loved Andy Pandy when I was little, but once we were older, my pals and I wondered what he and Teddy got up to in the toy basket with Looby Lou. The wicked minds of adolescents! :-0 :-D
