My key broard has stopped workin on laptop tried everything to.get it back so got to take it in to be looked at.

I have my mobile which i am using now but dont like usin it for internet much.
So hope to be back soon

First off, turn the laptop off, unplug it from the mains and remove the battery. Leave it for a few minutes then replace battery and mains lead and try rebooting - it does sometimes work.

Ok wil try that ES was on phone to help line for over an hour.
I have someone tjat can take me back to shop where i got it from. Its not even a year old yet. :-(

Have you a desktop PC with a USB keyboard which you can plug into the laptop?
Probably not, otherwise you would be using the PC rather than your mobile.

Brian i do have a desktop but that died awhile ago.

I do hope it keeps working, What did i do befor computers? :-S

If it happens again then chances are it is a software rather than hardware problem - have you recently installed any new software? I can let you have some diagnostic software if it recurs to see what the problem may be.
Also, check that your drivers are up to date (these are little programmes that "drive" (or work) things like keyboards, mice, printers etc.
If you need help with this just give me a shout/

Thank you i am not very up on things with laptops or computers. I know how to turn it on go into what i need. I did have someone that use to come and help me but he has his mum and dad to look after.

i havent put anything new on here. So cant be anything like that.

ok it may just be a glitch or it may be that you have inadvertently downloaded something - easily done
If you PM me I will give you a guide to cleaning your computer down

Have you run an AV scan of late?

Ronald if you mean anti vrius i do one everyday and everyweek do a whole laptop scan
