in the toilet paper aisle

Picked up my usual 12 pack

Woman near me said "Oh my, they make toilet paper for dogs!"

She left, laughing. I looked at the "doggie paper"........ it was a packet of the wet flushable ones, with a picture of a labrador on it. :-D

Maybe she couldn't read?

Karen in the desert Report 12 Jan 2013 23:59

She's been watching too many of those ads with the wickle puppy running
away with the loo roll :-D :-D

LadyScozz Report 13 Jan 2013 01:04

Made me think.................. do people actually use loo paper on their dogs?

Michelle Report 13 Jan 2013 01:47

Um I have to say there are times that I have to get out a wet wipe to clean George's behind after he has done his business - rather that than him sitting on the floor with a dirty bum :-P

LadyScozz Report 13 Jan 2013 02:30

I hope George is your dog (or cat)

Michelle Report 13 Jan 2013 02:31

George is my dog, a 16 year old Lab Mastiff Cross

Did you know Morrisons own brand is advertised in the stores as being made from "recycled paper".

Always makes me smile when I see it, :-)

(recycled toilet paper, the mind boggles). :-D

Michelle Report 13 Jan 2013 10:21

Hi Liz as his Vet says he just keeps going and going - even the vet is surprised that he (George the dog) is still alive and kicking, I think it is the walks we have and still do every day - Mcihelle

Paula+ Report 13 Jan 2013 13:35

Goods news Michelle, keep up with the walks - they are good for you too

Michelle Report 14 Jan 2013 08:06

It always makes me laugh when I see these health tips that say going for a walk will make you feel less stressed etc, try doing it with a stubborn pig head large breed dog :-0

LadyScozz Report 14 Jan 2013 21:47

Brenda from Wales Report 14 Jan 2013 23:02

Didnt have them when mine were little Uzzi....cor I must be old!
Had to carry a wet flannel in a toilet bag!

LollyWithSprinklez Report 15 Jan 2013 03:12

But Brenda life was so much simpler and cheaper then....wet flannel, toilet bags, and a jar of Vaseline

Milton & buckets of terry nappies soaking :-)

Michelle Report 15 Jan 2013 09:22

Yes Scozz I have known for a long time I am the one getting taken for the walk.

A toilet bag would be out of the question as trying to carry anything while I am walking George is a real pain, as I have to often change the hand that is holding the leash as George doesn't believe one should walk in a straight line and where possible we circle around the human. Everything goes into pockets, doggy doo bags, dog and cat treats (we have a number of places to call in where George has canine and feline friends), cell phone, house keys, wet wipes (travel pack) & torch in the winter time. :-)
