The dark :-( :-(

Polystyrene,can barely look at it.Heights,crowds,enclosed spaces, most things.

Supercrutch, I have 2 lofts in my house (although the house is small!), one loft hatch is immediately above my bed :-D

I will have to get back to you when I found out what it is, I have no issues with spiders, insects, heights etc

Spiders - but worse than that loud noises as my hearing is too accute. Phobia started when since a builder fired masonery bullits into the wall next to me at work one day with no warning. Everyone in the office levitated in the seats. :-S

I now carry ear plugs :-D

Not too keen on heights, but used to be okay.
As a child in Mevagissey, we (local children) used to jump off the cliffs onto the beach (avoiding the rocks below). I only realised it may have been a bit dangerous when the coastguard helicopter came to rescue 2 climbers climbing the very cliff we jumped off!!
So, when I can afford it, I intend to go abseiling :-D

I couldn't go in a hot air ballon though

The MOTH gets weird with (some) heights. I saw him stand on the edge of the Grand Canyon, while I stood a safe distance away! He says he trusts nature but not man-made, but he's fine climbing a ladder! We got in a gondola (the mountain type, not water), and his face went white when he saw how high we were going ~ so he sat on the floor, with his head under my coat. We got some funny looks :-D

Heights
Closed in spaces. I cannot get into a lift . MRI scanner gives me panic attacks.
I can also get agrophobic
Not much hope for me is there. :-(

I cannot go near an open loft hatch nor will I sleep in a room where there is a closed one. If I find the loo is situated where there is overhead ducting I am off out of there no matter how desperate I am :-(

hate anything with a tail that darts around , throw back to when I was a kid and we had problems with mice one time . could hear em scampering over head and was petrified they would come down the Victorian fireplace into the bedroom and get on me in bed

Makes me run cold even now thinking about it

I hate spiral staircases especially in old house and buildings, stone ones like the one in York Minster, also ski lifts the ones you sit in.

Dont like mice or rats.........but detest touching public loos door handles I near freak out *shudders* and cant get to the sink fast enough,,,,always carry anti gel.

I think most people are scared of spiders but very few (including me ) are totally phobic on them, Scozz you are one of the few who are phobic

I love birds but can't abide being in a room when someone lets their budgerigar or canary out. I get panicky if I think it's going to land on me :-( I'm not at all frightened of wild birds but when we had an aviary I couldn't go inside it.

Attics, balloons, any metal ducting overhead and yes the 8 legged wotsits!
