I didn't like it when I had to change from a red book licence to a green paper one. |

All European licences are being updated so that they are all the same . They will all look alike except for the English one will have UK on it the Spanish one Es etc. I know this because I had to go this week with mine and have a mini medical and a rolling road driving test. Under 65's will be renewed every 10 years and over 65's every 5 years. If you have 'Residence' in another country you will have to take the licence of that country when your current UK one expires or before that date if you want to. The process should be completed by January 2015. |

The green ones should be just about finished soon, as at 70 you need a a new licence anyway........so its a photo jobby |

I have a pink paper one, it runs out the day before I am 70 so 2017, that's not so far off now :>(( If they use my passport photo for the new licences, I will hate it as it's an awful photo lol |
