Hi Emma, glad you enjoyed the show and had ya good old bogie on down :-D when I went to see the T Rex tribute I got talking to the lady in the seat next to me. She was there with her mates and up and dancing most of the night. She told me she was 83 :-D

Hi Mau there are so many good musicals I would like to see.
If I remember I saw the film Chorus Line and wouldn't, mind
seeing that live. Top Hat and Memphis sound great. Quite a
few good shows coming to us later on in the year :-D

Hi Emma glad you liked the show must look out for it :-)

One of my big passions is going to the theatre,I like drama but just love musicals and over the years have seen most of the biggies.
Last show was in London 'Top Hat' fantastic and so true to the original, felt like getting up onstage with the cast lol
Saw 'Memphis' last year in New York a great fast show with lots of Swing numbers.
I was lucky to get theatre tokens for my birthday so waiting to see if 'Chorus Line' is coming soon as it's a show I'd like to see.

Mau :-D

the worst bit is my legs and back, I should no better at my age and
with RA not to be dancing but that kind of show so worth it :-D :-D

Many moons ago I worked on the Rocky Horror Show and absolutely loved it

Karen - that's not a bad idea

The best touring musical I've seen in recent years was We Will Rock You, using the music of Queen. It was brilliant. I will always go and see a tour of Rocky Horror or Blood Brothers.

I live near Stratford so I'm very lucky and have seen some very good plays there.

What a shame, perhaps nobody saw your offer Errol?

Maybe we need an 'Offers and For Sale' board so we can give or sell our stuff to each other. :-)

............and how was it???

'Emma' Report 23 Jan 2013 15:00

Didn't think I would get to hairdressers this afternoon due
to heavy snowfall for the past couple of days.
Heavy under foot and quite tiring trying to walk, but got
there in between the showers.
So being picked up door to door for the theatre, knowing
the situation here the town centre will be clear.
Daughter and SIL enjoyed the show so we are looking
forward to seeing it. :-)

I don't go to the theatre very often, but I would be very interested to hear about 'Soul Sister' . It sounds great!

Love the theatre - musicals, plays, anything really. Don't get to London as often as I would like because train fares and theatre tickets are a bit pricey but go when we can. Last thing I saw in London was Blood Brothers. Also saw Lady in the Van at the Dolman Theatre at Newport, S. Wales and a couple of months ago saw Calendar Girls at our little local theatre.

Going to see High Society at Venu Cymru. Llandudno Theatre...end of next week.
Looking forward to it...saw the film years ago and loved it then....must be well over 50 years ago!
Hope it's good ..think it's doing a tour round the country.
