Purple **^*Sparkly*^** Diamond Report 31 Jan 2013 06:48

but just want to mark my late daughter's birthday today, she would have been 39 years old had she lived. Sadly I only had her for 3 days as she was very tiny, having been born ten weeks prematurely. My son and I will go to the cemetery later today to put some flowers on her grave altho she isn't really there - she is in my heart forever.

Some people say don't think about the past but her loss had such an impact on me that I will never forget her.

See you one of these days, Zoe

much love

Oh Liz,didn't know about your sad loss so long ago.You never forget.
We had a cot death 24 years ago.My daughters youngest son was an identical twin and we lost Thomas at 4 months on an older brothers 7th birthday.
The family never forget his birthday and do look after the grave.
The other twin now has a son of his own who will be 1 next week and they have called him Thomas.

My heart goes out to anyone who has lost a child. My older brother Greame died at 4 hours and because he had not been baptised he could not be placed into sacred land. However the priest gave permission to be buried beside a wall of the church. My mother was sedated as the doctor felt she would not cope!

When I learnt about this I vowed to visit every year and did so until we left England but the vicar and some friends always rember him on the day he died. I imagine him every day.

Liz, you will always be with your daughter and the memory is yours to cherish, I will say a prayer for you both.

Liz, I don't know who would say 'don't think about the past'.
It doesn't matter how long a loved one is in our lives for, they are still very much part of our families and in our hearts forever. <3

Although the death of a child will be with you forever so will the love you had for Zoe, and that is obviously so beautiful. Whilst remembering her give thanks for that beautiful piece of your heart you gave her ? I know how it feels.

How could you expected to confine to Zoe to the past? No way, you carried her with love and she was snatched away too early. You keep her with you and with love and that is only right. Take care <3
