Barbinsglos Report 3 Feb 2013 16:40

Hi VFM, Its on Thursday 7th 9pm ITV
Heavy Horse Power. Martin Clunes again about the roles of working horses around the world
I love anything to do with animals. Just seen Kangaroo Dundee. A chap in OZ who gave up everything to run a kangy nature reserve. OH said if he ever had a big win he would send a chunk to this chap.
I want to get a puppy. No I dont. Yes I do. No I dont :-D :-D :-D :-D

Vintagefinemaid Report 3 Feb 2013 16:13

Brilliant programme, one of the few I watched last week.
When is the horse one Barb? Although I must say I am not great lover of horses

Mersey Report 3 Feb 2013 14:50

Its mine and Mums dog Barb we share him (3 days with me, 4 with Mum) lol....hes doing well hes back to his normal happy self apart from where he was bitten.....The vet did say he would heal very quickly and he certainly has, if not just a little nervous of bigger dogs now......he can still tell the time when its times for his walks ....

Thanks for asking Barb :-) <3

Mersey Report 3 Feb 2013 14:44

I thoroughly enjoyed it....I did blub especially the story of the dog and his owner getting knocked down and the dog limped to cover his owner to keep him warm....

Also the dogs being left or right handed (pawed) lol :-)

Barbinsglos Report 3 Feb 2013 14:40

I loved it too. First I knew of left or right footed dogs too. The love shown between dog and master or mistress was wonderful.
The story of the man in the wheelchair, how he couldn't find emotion or even smile until that dog came into his life was magical.
Found myself a bit teary because I really miss my G.Sheperd who we had to put to sleep in 2007 aged 15. She knew, as was shown when we were sad or poorly, and knew every word we said.
I am looking forward to the Horse one too.
Mersey, was it your little dog that was hurt? I hope she/he made a full recovery :-D

Mauatthecoast Report 3 Feb 2013 14:37

The Martin Clunes doc. Mersey? I thought it was a marvelous programme.

The dog feeding the lamb with a bottle and the dog who looked after his master by getting the cash from atm machine...........fantastic :-D

GlitterBaby Report 3 Feb 2013 14:30

Loved the slow motion of the dog shaking themselves after getting wet.

Mersey Report 3 Feb 2013 14:05

Did anyone watch it??

I taped it and just finished watching it.......I thought it was great :-)
