Mines the Water Music Suites by Handel. I have several different recodings of the work. I like to play it loud when no-one else is in the house (like now) Sounds very nice with 90 watts per channel and floor standing speakers.

Rachmaninov's Piano Concerto No 2 in C Minor

I do rather like Handel's Water Music and Firework Music too and yes - a decent music system does make all the difference

Another great one at full volume (or with decent headphones on) is Cars by Gary Numan - was listening to it earlier this afternoon. It was used in an advertisement on television recently but can't remember which one.

My poor old digital Yamaha is just about up for this but not ideal.

Dear All

Hello

My all time favourite is Canon in D by Pachelbel.

I first heard this piece of music on a 45rpm record in my early teens.

Listened to many variations of this since.

Take gentle care
Best wishes

Mozart's Clarinet Concerto, particularly the slow movement. Holds a lot of memories for me.

I also like Sibelius' Finlandia - don't know why but it always makes me want to cry.
Pathetic aren't I?

Three 'de-stressers' I've been listening to recently are:

Arvo Part - Spiegel im Spiegel

'Dawn' from the film music by Dario Marianelli - 'Pride & Prejudice'
www.youtube.com/watch?v=4vORD1qTYKA

and an old faithful, which always gives me a lift:

Johnny Pearson's 'Sleepy Shores'
