I am fairly new to GR,. however I find it incredible that the site will remove a post from a thread when just ONE person has rrd it. Would it not be better to have a “like” AND a “dislike” facility, them we could see how many approved or disapproved of a posting, and perhaps after a defined number of “dislike” the post would be rrd. I am sure that is not an original idea, but just a thought.

I agree the aggressive rring is about power and control, neither of which appeals to me.

Merlin. Tesco off topic and you may thertefore be rr'd. And me for responding!!!!! But just as a point of fact, it was everyone selling horse meat including your corner shop. They just did not know.

It is reaction to it by companies that is important. It may yet pose a public health hazard. And may still be happening.

I don't think it is fair to speculate,

There are old arguments, an RR might just be someone finally 'getting their own back' from months/years ago.

It may be that there is a double bluff...ie I'll report Xs thread, everyone will think it was done by Y so Y will get the blame .

One person might RR ONE post and someone who agreed with them might do the rest, or several people might,

I don't think it's going to help to cast suspicion, when the board is so tetchy as it is.

For the record, I reported GPs post on 'same sex marriage' thread as I said there, I haven't reported anything else for months and that was on the LR board for privacy reasons. But if I do I will tell you,
