Silly Sausage

Silly Sausage Report 17 Feb 2013 14:17

I think I have gone as far as I can with it, I know my Grandfather served in the Manchester regiment and have found some old photos of the time he would of been serving in India but I cant i'd my Grandfather :-(

I have also reserched a JPOW camp as my Uncle was there, I have found the camp and some bits of interest how he was caught and I was passed a photo that could of been possiblly him but again I can not I'd him on the photo. The actual picture was taken when they were captured its of his regiment or group, it just looks like a photo taken by the army it wasnt it was to show the world look how we look after our prisonors they look clean healthy and well fed sadly as we all know this wasnt the case I found some of the research on this a bit traumatic.
