Trying to think of one. I suspect we all do lots of things others would consider a good tip without thinking about it. |

If you put all your peelings in a jar of white vinegar and let them steep for a while it makes a good cleaner for all sorts of things including floors. |

I just buy a sweet smelling (camomile?) floor cleaner from the supermarket at a reasonable price. Add 3 caps to water, wash floor - comes up clean and shiny. Job done. Lasts for months too (the liquid), only need to do it when the grandchildren are visiting usually - pre and post with the odd swish around in between, LOL! |

Grout gets mouldy very quickly! When we redid the bathroom, we sealed all the grout. We used a spray, but you can get it in a bottle and spend hours using a small paintbrush. We also sealed the grout on the tiles behind the cooktop in the kitchen. |

About 1/2 bottle of white vinegar in both washing machine and dishwasher and put on hot wash - will clean them and get rid of any limescale - especially handy if in hard water area as I am. |
