Mine were navy blue with pocket.
Went to school in centre of city...1000girls...1000 boys next door...ne'er the twain should meet.....but we played netball in the tiny yard,in our navies ,and the boys in upstairs rooms could watch us ,unless they were caught and given detention.

Also had navy gymslip with sash of house...I was in Eliot...after George Eliot.
Hats had to be worn out of school on way home and if a prefect caught you...reported!
Those were the days...but we had a good education.

Awful boxpleat thingie, had to be pressed constantly!
Blue knickers
Hat & gloves
Tie
Horrible gym slip... with a shirt & tie! How they expected us to run in that I don't know
Thick fawn granny stockings in winter & knee-high fawn socks in summer

No wonder we grabbed the 60s fashions with both hands!

Navy blue fleecy lined. Our teacher insisted that we keep a hanky in the pocket, but the boys thought we kept our dinner money there and were constantly trying to get it !!!!!!!!!!

We were posh.....a lovely shade of Maroon with knickers to match ;-)

Your skirt rolled over at the top about ten times making you look quite deformed....what a sight!
