Well done Dizzi. Keep it up.
When i was rushed to hospital in oct 2007 with pneumonia, i never smoked another ciagrette as i could hardly breathe. i dont miss them or desire them, the health scare was a wake up call to make a choice. I did only smoke about 8-10 a day but had been for 30 years.

I put on 2 stone in weight very quickly but feel so much better in myself and also did it straight away without any patches etc.

I maintain, we can all achieve whatever we want to if we want to!

Really pleased for you.
Take care now
Florence in the hebrides. :-)

One among all the good things about giving up is when someone asks you if you want a ciggie and you say no thanks I don't smoke.

Keep going, you're doing well.

Well done Gwen, you must feel better for it physically as well as financially. I can never understand how people on benefit especially afford to smoke, their kids must go short with the price of cigs as it is.

So glad I never really smoked much and stopped in my early twenties.

Well done Dizzi. It's not easy but the longer you go the less likely you are to start again.
I still fancy a ciggie occasionally and I gave up on September 1st 1983!!! How sad is that :-D Thing is I don't think I could afford to smoke now ;-)
