No I am years behind the game but I genuinely like the phone I have even though it's only an old blackberry curve. May upgrade when my contract is up to the new blackberry z10 if it's cheap enough. But if not I will stick with What I have as it works like a router on my blackberry PlayBook.

I actually thought my phone was just txt phone and camera NO it has blue tooth *what the hell is that * now I have blue tooth and loads of stuff so I have to turn off all I don´t want not easy

I believe Help The Aged have brought out an idiot proof mobile phone for duffers like me. Ayone got one? Or am I the only one who dreads having to use one!

I've got a very old small & neat Samsung A330 on pay-as-you-go and put £10 in about every five months.
Mainly for emergencies and with no friends nobody rings me anyway.

I love my iphone it is capable of almost everything a computer can do. However it does more than I am capable of, but I am learning. ;-)

I have had a mobile since 1996...first one shared with ex, which probably distroyed our marriage.
First one of my own was the Nokia 3210 in the late 90s and continued with Nokia until 2005 when I got first Samsung with camera.

Had a sim only for some years and was then talked into getting a new contract last year which is quite cheap at just over £10 a month for 250 minutes 3000 texts and 1gb internet plus a stupid Samsung Galaxy Y phone...but I cant get on with it, never use the internet and probably 2 or 3 texts a month....but ok for emergencys or to get in contact with other mobile phones rather than use the land line

I have a lovely HTC smart phone - cannot get online etc., and if you let the battery run down by accident then you lose all your 'connections'

It is a nightmare.

Next phone will be a basic with camera again!!!

I was a complete technophobe and only wanted talk and text.

I got regular new phones by default, the last one was a Blackberry that my daughter didn't want.
I hated it!
On my B'day last month, I was given an iphone.
I absolutely love it.
I love having emails, facebook, twitter ect ... on the go!

I do have a mobile phone but it is getting on a bit now. I use it mainly for texting if we are away or if family are away. I can't get the internet on it but it does have an excellent camera (as does my IPad). But, as photography has always been my hobby, if I want to take photos I use one of my two cameras.

I,ve got a Nokia with camera, The reason being, I got fed up with carrying those big red ones around, it gave me a bad back.. :-D

Yes, John, I'm a technophobe - I'm scared of new technology! My Hubby is just the opposite, and embraces anything new that comes along (Ooh, that sounds bad, doesn't it!), so he helps me along. Without him, I doubt I'd even have my laptop!

Mine isn't too fancy but does have a camera and a few things on it, but as my son pays for it (I contribute a little each month but it's on his account) I don't use if for the internet as it costs too much.

I take pics of cars/number plates if they are parked close to me in case they clip me as they drive away and don't leave a message and if I am out and have not got my camera with me I use the phone then, also useful for photographing bus timetables on holiday etc so that I can refer back and things like that.

I can text people and that's useful, and keep my phone charged so I can stay in touch when out or ring my friends when I have some spare time. Mostly use the landline indoors tho.

I only use mine for the AA.

I have just replaced it from a more fancier one that used to dial peoples numbers everytime I gripped it. Now got a flip top with a camera but not very good at using that.

If my phone rings, I think it's someone elses.
If I do need to use it, the battery is usually flat.

It's a great source of merriment (to us) if we are stopped in the street by someone wanting to us to switch providers.

"We can undercut your monthly charge. How much do you pay?"
"Ooo.. About £20.................per year! "

The predictive text was the first thing to be disabled when we bought it. The only time I've really needed to send a text, it had somehow gone into a foreign language.

An all singing, all dancing one would be a complete waste of money.

I don't have a mobile 'phone and I don't want one!

There's a telephone/fax with an answering machine and a computer in the house, so people can leave a message or send an email.

OH has a mobile 'phone for work, but when we go out the 'phone stays home! We do take it on holidays, easier than using hotel 'phones or searching for a payphone (which have either disappeared or have been vandalised).

I have a camera........... and an ipod that takes photographs!

I have an new android, I watch TV on it :-D use very function it has and have added more. That's the advantage of being a long term customer of one network, just got hubby a new android and he's hooked...lolol and a bargain price for all you can eat data as he watches the news on it when he's away from home and now can trawl the www after lessons...lolol

We keep in touch (real time) with son in the Guate for free, same as the USA rellies. Son can walk around his business videoing as he goes as we see it as soon as he's finished. It's called whatsap if anyone is interested.

I joined twitter only to receive minute by minute reports from inside the court during the Pistorius bail hearing but now I'm indoctrinated too.

Hubby has lots of photos of grandson so he can scroll through them to show Great Grandma when he travels to Kent to see her.

I pick up my email in the car, surf the net and even post on FB and GR using it.

All the above makes me either sad or a groovy granny
