As I explained before, I went through all the rigmarol(?) of getting Fred off to the eye clinic.

The ambulance was late so I had to ring hospital transport, then the contractor who was taking him.

Then I had to ring the eye cinic to ake sure they knew he would be late and had not cancelled, with all the consequences that would entail.

Once he was off I did what I also do on Sausage Sandwich Day,bath, lavender oil,cup of tea.

Having a bit of a drift and in come the carers. When I rang to tell them that he would not be home the date had not been written down so somebody, quite randomly, decided it was Friday.

I might just as well have asked them to come on a day of their choosig at a time they liked the look of.

Sounds like you are having a frustrating day, Sharron. Re the carers, we used to get the same thing - their office never seemed to convey a change of arrangement.
Extra lavender needed, I think!

Well,he's home and he does not need to go back to the hospital about this eye so he must have survived my haphazard nursing care.

Tough old bugger!

Great news, bless him, and good for you! :-)
