You may need the Afghan before the weekend is out!

Paula, I am about 25 miles from the gorgeous Ashbourne, and even I wouldn't go there this weekend. As you say, it is not the getting there that is a bother, it is the getting back home.

Keep on making us laugh Errol, we will need it befor the weekend is out

Blimey it looks like we all live in our own little snow bound enclave.

Glad I gave you a smile whilst the dark clouds gather

Well Errol, all three LOL,
but in this case ity is a crocheted bed/lounger wool cover, with a intricate pattern.

Oh you have made me laugh.

:-D :-D :-D @Errol, you do make me laugh.

Hello Julie, we were hoping to get to see my sister in Ashbourne tomorrow. I HATE snow so we will not be moving far over the weekend. It is not the driving there, but the uncertainty about the weather for the homeward journey that concerns me .:-( :-( :-(

EDIT JULIA :-D

Julia I am not a million miles from you.

Incidentally, forgive my ignorance but what is an Afghan?
A dog?
A coat?
An assylum-seeking lodger?

Yes Errol, I have seen it, and it is also for us here in Derbyshire.

OH managed to get the chemist to allow him to pick up my Morphine this morning, though it was not due until tomorrow, Better safe than sorry.

Was expecting a visit from two daughters on Saturday afternoon, but the one that does the driving, will not do so in the snow. And I have been trying to get an Afghan (sp), finished ready for one of them. All done now, but will they come.

Told the OH to double up on basics, if he manages to get out tomorrow.

Will be glad when it is all over, instead of keep coming and going.

Not given out much better for Easter Weekend. And I wanted to get in the garden. Some hopes if this keeps up. Was 21/23 temperature, this time last year.
Brrr,Brrr, Brrr.

I have just checked the weather forecast and it looks like heavy snow starting this evening about 9pm and continuing non stop through Friday and Saturday.
What joy!
