As I have said before. My concern would be for the child. |

No doubt if you were to alert the UK media to this they'd just tell you that it's *relaxed parenting* and *we've all done it*...like they have on other matters :-S |

I think Scozz's comments are based on her knowledge of this woman and what this woman told her. |

The laws in Australia on drugs is the same as in UK....infact they have much stiffer sentances from what I've seen. |

If this person was a proper respectful loving son he would talk to his Mum, hold her, comfort her with love and support her and make sure the child was safe and in a safe enviroment not give her drugs !! makes me so angry :-| |

if anyone says they need a drink, or a joint to look after a child, they obviously shouldn't be looking after any child, and if a grandmother can't look after her 2 year old Grandchild without a drug, I'd say the Grandmother needs looking after. |

Stray, I fully agree with you and if I had been a parent I would object, as it is my mutts are my children and I wouldn´t leave epi with somebody who was stoned or would drink too much etc because they couldn´t react quick enough to a fit. But then I leave her with very few people. |

Stray I agree it was very wrong if she smoked in front of the child when it´s illegal. Also if she had the dope on her whilst looking after the child. BUT it is not illegal to be stoned. It is only illegal to possess the drug. There are many legal highs which I believe are far more harmful that a joint- |

thats why some prescribed drugs have warning on them not to drink, drive or ue machinary, while taking them, and i trust someone who does take them and has an effect wouldnt look after children, |

I have mixed feelings on all what has been said here, I don´t believe that a regular smoker would be too impaired to look after a child, nor do I think that a glass of wine is so wrong. The legalities of either isn´t the outrage it´s the affect on the child and the ability to look after said child. |

The odd glass of wine is okay - not much different to a small joint if you're used to it. I don't think even Scozz said she was going to get ratarsed. |

this is wrong to me, 1 joint may well effect her badly unless she is a regular smoker, |
