AnnCardiff, I remember them, particularly the cardboard bottle top for making pompoms
Only a couple of weeks ago, I had to go out and buy a little gizmo, for making pompoms, which cost me nearly £2. Brink back the carboard bottle top, I say.

Anyone remember the leccy man calling, emptying the meter in the hall and putting the coins in piles on the stairs. Sorting out the foreign coins to give back to my mum.
Making snakes from wool and a cotton reel with 4 nails on the top. I used to make pompoms too from cardboard circles with an inner circle cut out.

i do and if mum got a re-bate back we had sweet's as a treat,

also i thought i was the bees knees when i got my first compendium of games for christmas.
