Is anybody else watching this on Sunday evenings (ITV).
I don't remember watching the pilot and I thought twice about watching the series. I loved Morse and prequels are sometimes a letdown.
I am really enjoying the series though :-)

Watched the Pilot and it was reasonable, but the other seems to be pretty good, looking forward to the next episode. :-D

II was a big Morse fan so was initially unsure about Endeavour, but I am really enjoying it. Casting has been excellent so far, lots of little Morse type gestures and mannerisms and of course the music.

Really enjoy it - even if he is nothing like Morse would have been as a young man.

He even looks taller than Morse!!!!

But enjoyable - but me I love a detective story

And Roger Allam as Fred Thursday is fantastic

I watched the pilot for the show, and am watching the series.

I think it is working really well, also they are including a young Max the pathologist and Strange, calling everyone matey.

Did you realise that John Thaw's daughter is the editor of the local newspaper?

Nice touches being added to keep the memory of Morse alive.

:-) :-) :-)

I watched for the first time last night, having lost the plot with The Village. I loved it, and the music was great :-D :-D

I think last nights episode tied things up nicely.

Max is cantakerouse, as he is in later life.

Strange is taking his Sergeants exam.

Morse has an accident that makes him limp in later life, so now we know how it happened.

I like the little touches by the actor playing Morse. Him running his finger around the edge of his collar.

Morse used to do that all the time when he was thinking...............

:-) :-) :-)

We record it because we usually have a visitor on Sunday evenings.

As with everyone else, we were massive Morse fans and were uncertain as to how both the Lewis and the Endeavour series would be handled.

We love them both................ :-D

This actor has obviously studied the Morse series very intently in order to get those little mannerisms right.

Well done to all concerned. :-)

Do you realise, the reporter, Dorothea Frazil is played by Abigail Thaw, John Thaw's daughter, from his first marriage?

So disappointed the series is finished, enjoyable viewing
and hope they will start another series.
