Nothing to do with how age is perceived but I was brought up never so ask a lady her age,

Something to do with good manners i believe

I am 69 this year (Ouch did I really just admit to that)

To me age is not important it's just a question of mind over matter, if you don't mind then it does not matter.

PS
We went out for dinner with my DIL and son last night ( a man with impeccable taste,) and he said "Mom you look great", so I told my OH when we got home and he said "You always do"

How lucky am I? <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3

I am only 30 plus 40 years old, and well set in my ways and routines, always been fairly open minded about most things, each to their own I say ;-)

Oldies they say are generally set in their ways - I'm an old fogie I know that - but I'm open to anything.

It is claimed that many serious researchers are from the older generation - makes sense I suppose.

Just curious - wonder how many members would acknowlege they are over 60 or dare I say 65 even better 70+

Edit: I'm a plonker at times - I never admit my age but nearer 70 is all I will say
